Pricing, billing, the boring bits.

Is the Solo plan actually free forever, or does it expire?
Forever. No card, no trial expiry. We make money from the Business and Practice plans, which need to be worth paying for. Solo exists because every freelancer should be able to file GST correctly without a software bill.
What does 'unlimited invoices' actually mean?
It means unlimited. No 50-invoice cap, no 'fair use' policy, no surprise bills if you raise 2,000 invoices in a month. We've seen too many Indian SaaS products use 'unlimited' loosely — we don't.
Do you charge per company / GSTIN?
On Business, the plan covers one legal entity (one PAN), which can have up to 2 GSTINs across states. Growth covers up to 5 GSTINs / 5 companies. If you have more (e.g., a CA firm managing many clients), the Practice plan handles multiple client books with unlimited GSTINs across those clients.
Are there setup or annual maintenance charges?
No. ₹0 setup, ₹0 AMC. The monthly or annual price is what you pay. Add-ons are optional.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Billing is monthly with no lock-in during private beta. Annual billing — with a 20% discount and a 30-day money-back guarantee — goes live at public launch. If you cancel, your data is exportable to CSV — no hostage situation.
What payment methods do you accept?
UPI, all major Indian debit/credit cards, Net Banking, NEFT/RTGS, and corporate purchase orders for Practice and Enterprise plans.
Do you have a startup discount?
Yes — DPIIT-recognised startups in their first 3 years get 50% off Business or Practice for the first 12 months. Email support@tatvabooks.com with your DPIIT certificate.
Is GST included in the listed prices?
Prices are exclusive of GST. 18% IGST will be added to your invoice. Practice and Business plans include GST credit invoices, so registered businesses get full ITC.
