GST software built by CAs, for CA practices
Most GST software is built for a single business. A CA practice runs a dozen or more clients at once — each with its own filing deadlines, its own reconciliation gaps, its own team member responsible for it. TatvaBooks is built the other way round: it starts from a firm's workflow, not a single company's, because the team building it is a Chartered Accountant's practice too.
That means multi-client access, per-client permissions and a filing calendar are not add-ons bolted onto invoicing software — they're the reason the product exists. See how the whole platform fits a practice on our for Chartered Accountants page.
One dashboard, every client's books
On the Practice plan (₹1,999/month) you get up to 15 client books under one firm login. Instead of remembering separate credentials or opening separate company files, your team sees every client's GST status, pending reconciliations and upcoming due dates on a single screen — then drills into any one client's books without a second sign-in.
Each client gets the full Growth feature set — GST invoicing, GSTR-2B reconciliation, inventory, payroll up to 25 employees — included in the firm's plan, not billed per client.
GST-correct at source + GSTR-2B reconciliation across clients
Every invoice raised in any client's books works out CGST/SGST/IGST, HSN and place of supply correctly at the moment it's created — so there's less to fix before a return. On the reconciliation side, each client's purchase register is matched against their own GSTR-2B automatically, and mismatches (vendor not uploaded, amount mismatch, missing invoice) are flagged per client but visible firm-wide, so you know which clients need attention before month-end. Read the mismatch categories in our GSTR-2B reconciliation guide.
If you're comparing us on the billing side specifically, see GST billing software; for the full ledger and books, see cloud accounting software.
Filing-deadline tracker with reminders
Every client on your Practice dashboard shows their next GSTR-1, GSTR-3B or other due date, with email reminders sent ahead of time — to you and, if you choose, to the client. The point isn't just a calendar; it's catching the client whose 2B reconciliation still has open items three days before the deadline, not the morning of.
Role-based access for articles
Firm, client, company and staff-level permissions mean an article can be given data-entry access to specific clients — postings, reconciliation, invoice entry — while a partner keeps full visibility and sign-off across the firm. Every action is recorded in an append-only activity log, so if a number looks wrong, you can see exactly who entered it and when.
Pricing for CA practices
Practice is ₹1,999/month — up to 15 client books, 3 firm staff seats, unlimited GSTINs via clients, and each client's books running on the full Growth feature set at no extra per-client charge. There's no per-filing fee. If you're onboarding a large client roster from Tally, our team of CAs helps import masters and reconcile opening balances to the rupee during your first cycle.
